Skyrim Perks : Pickpocketing Perk Tree Released

Posted by Elderscroll Admin on September - 3 - 2011

STOP! THIEF!

Pickpocketing is certainly one of the oldest and funnest past time skills in The Elder Scrolls. Who doesn’t love the Thieves Guild and it’s unique following? Pickpocketing is a must have for every rogue fan – and I know there are a lot of you.

It excites me enormously to know they’ve actually taken the skill to a whole new levels. In Skyrim news today, you’ll be excited to find out that the perk-tree for pickpocketing has been released. Initially, it seems like there are some difficulty factors based on the size and weight of an object. That’s great. But aside from that, let’s get to the grit. Let’s see some PERKS!

[Light Fingers 0/5] Reduces the influence weight and value of items has on your chance of successfully pickpocket an item

[Night Thief] Pickpocketing unconcious/sleeping NPC works almost every time

[Poisoned] Silently place poison in other peoples pockets in order to harm or kill

[Cutpurse] Pickpocketing gold is 50% easier

[Extra Pockets] Carrying capacity is increased by 100

[Keymaster] Pickpocketing keys always works

[Misdirections] You can pickpocket equipped weapons

[Perfect Touch] You can pickpocket equipped items

I think perks in an Elder Scrolls game is a fantastic idea. Anybody who has spent time in one of the Fallout games by Bethesda would definitely agree and wonder why perks weren’t in Oblivion or Morrowind.

Thieves everywhere rejoice!! Pickpocketing perks are coming your way.
