Good news for my fellow Skyrim preorderers!
An official post from Bethesda rep Nick Breckon announced that a premium map would ship with the preorder version of Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, “The map is a high-grade material that has a feel similar to burlap, and will be available in North America and Europe”.
I’ve always liked getting these sort of maps in other RPG’s. Something about these maps really gives off a strong fantasy feel. It’s as if you are really in Skyrim and you can reference your map to say, “Oh yeah, Solitude! I need to go south to get there.”
The map will be available in North America and Europe for all preorders.

I hope Bethesda announces a collector’s edition soon. It’d be cool if they had this “premium” map in the CE too.
